Buy or not to buy.....green furniture
The typical excuses to not buy organic furniture usually its high price or low range compared to conventional furniture. However, more and more companies offer all kinds of furniture friendly environment at affordable prices.
The eco-furniture production is not limited to a few family businesses or craft, a sign that consumers are increasingly demanding products with the "green"label. For example, the Swedish multinational Ikea recently introduced several models of recycled wood, as the corner sofa "Jarbo", the rocker "Ellan", or kitchen carts "Bekvam" or "FÖRHÖJA".
Meanwhile, the Internet allows contact with many shops selling all sorts of furniture, either from wood certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), or non-toxic materials such as bamboo or sustainable, and competitive prices.
The examples are numerous, and in some cases, very curious, that will delight consumers and environmentalists original: Wooden benches made from a wine barrel from"VivaTerra"; pine sofas with FSC seal of Greener Lifestyles, modular furniture for stereos and televisions of Legaré Furniture; bamboo bedroom Crate & Barrel; maple cribs low toxicity of Pacific Rim or travel bassinet Radiata pine of Toads & Tulips, and many more within the reach of a mouse click.

Eco Friendly Cradle
Eco Friendly Cradle
Roll is a cradle meant to be hung. Four strong cotton ropes join together in a central ring connected to a hook on the ceiling or to an expressly built stand. Hanging up the cradle makes it swing not just in one direction: movements become soft and random, similar to the child’s movements inside it's mother belly.
